In a few words: good improvements over the previous generation
I'm not sure about the other colors, but 'Moss gray' is completely different from the picture - see the attached photo, on the top is old ones, on the bottom is new ones. Yes old ones burned out a bit, but they still much closer to photos that you see on a product page. It feels like there was some test model before production that had the same color as the previous one and was used for the promo pictures, but then they switched to a new color. Since 'Moss gray' is quite a stretchy name, I could call the new ones that too, but tbh it was quite disappointing to receive "just dark green pants" instead of the old 'Moss gray' :(
The belt is now much shorter. The previous ones in size 'M' were almost universal for anyone, since they had an almost infinite adjustment range. With the new ones this is not the case anymore, so you should pay more attention to the size you pick
Fabric is now a bit thinner, but at the same time feels a bit more "rough" - quite possible this is only because they are completely new, and the fabric will become soft after one or two washes
no more :crossed_fingers: issues with the button ripping off - now it is clipped and can't fall off, at least I hope so (:
Adjusting the belt is now way more annoying than before, since it's almost impossible to do, but to be honest I'd call it an advantage, since I'd prefer to struggle once and then just use it, rather than constantly tightening it up like with the previous ones
Back pockets are now actually usable, since there's no more of that strong velcro blocking you from accessing them
