Behind The Team

Have you ever wondered who's behind Rúngne? Who is it really that comes up with all the products? Who shoots all of the pictures? Who packs all the orders? Well, to answer all your questions: us. The somewhat normal-looking people in the picture above are some of the people behind Rúngne.

Oh, sorry, I didn't quite catch that. You want us to introduce ourselves more thoroughly and get to know us on a deeper, more emotional level? Okay then, if you insist. 

Petter (CEO) & Marius (CPO), aka "The Brothers"

 The CEO and the CPO, the brothers from the same mother, the sisters from the same mister. Name a more iconic duo. I'll wait. Petter and Marius are the Batman and Robin of the office. Maybe actually more like Tom & Jerry, now that I think about it. Anyways, apart from being responsible for bringing good vibes and rather bad jokes to the office, they both play an important role at Rúngne.

"I see my role at Rúngne as making sure our gear meets your goals. We push hard, but we never forget to enjoy the process along the way. We're all about balancing the drive to push limits with having fun—because that’s how we keep moving forward together."

Marion & Jordan, aka "The Marketing Department"

If you follow us on Instagram, chances are you have seen these two. Especially Jordan, which is basically the face of Rúngne at this point. These two definitely help lower the average age in the office. They have most certainly become the bestest of friends, at least according to Marion. 

Jordan is the mastermind and genius behind most things related to social media, photos and videos (not to mention influencer and creator content). He is well and truly addicted to climbing, and finds spray wall training incredible. Marion runs the email marketing, website and all things text, and is occasionally placed in front of the camera and instructed by Jordan to do things. 

Apart from a British accent and being the model for both men's and women's wear, Jordan contributes to loads of things:

"Hand me a camera, get me excited about creating, and I’ll give it my all. My main role is managing our social media account and Creator YouTube content, so if you’ve seen Eric Karlsson talking about Rúngne or Emil promoting our latest buckets, that was me behind the scenes supporting, and making it happen. As the brand's aesthetic evolve (especially with the recent rebranding), I find myself increasingly hands-on with content creation, whether I’m snapping photos in Font or filming sweaty boys in a basement (not what you’re thinking!). I love collaborating with like-minded people, as well as getting Rúngne out there to the world. Climbing hard, bringing the brand to life, and showcasing incredible products—that’s a casual day to day for me!"

Marion also does important things:

"I spend a lot of time writing. Pretty much everything, actually. If you see any text from Rúngne, chances are I’m the one behind it. Unless there are grammar mistakes—then it’s probably Jordan. I’m also responsible for maintaining and updating the website, so if something isn’t working, that’s probably my fault. Sorry about that! I’ve also invested a lot of time in the rebranding, which is my responsibility. In Norwegian, we call someone a 'potato' if they do many different things, and I’m definitely the office potato."

Karol, aka "The Heart of Rúngne"

Saved the best for last; our beloved fulfillment specialist Karol. This guy gets up early in the morning every day, and works weekends when necessary, to make sure all your orders are packed and shipped as fast as possible. Let's be honest, what would Rúngne be without him? 

This guy does more than most can imagine:

"Every morning, I dive in and tackle all the orders (and yes, this includes every little error they throw my way). I keep the shelves fully stocked and get to use the machine we all love here at the office: the cardboard compactor. Not to mention, I get to terrorize my colleagues with the world's loudest tape, which is a highlight of my day. And... honestly, this is just a small part of it! It’s a whirlwind of things to do, and every day is different from the last!"

Also, let's not forget about the rest of the wonderful team behind Rúngne. Even though our headquarters are in Norway, we have amazing colleagues all over the world. We wouldn't be the same without all of them!
