I bought this bag as a beginner climber, looking for a small/medium size bag that works for both bouldering (sitting nearby) and top-rope/lead climbing (wearing around your waist).

Before ordering, I was unsure if the bag was going to be big enough for bouldering, where I want to put both hands in at the same time, so I considered getting the bigger bag, but the craft chalk bag was perfect for me!
It is big enough to get both your hands in and chalk up properly (I have very big hands and I also have the magball inside), while still never being too big or in the way when climbing high walls. When you close the bag, it stays closed without leaking any chalk - I throw this bad boy in my backpack without having to worry about chalk falling out.

The material on the inside is very cozy for your hands, like a dry and dusty jacuzzi.
The double boaring chalk brush fits perfectly in the brush loop, and wearing the bag + brush makes you look 10x stronger than you are (at least for me, 6b climber). It's like sandbagging your own appearance, amazing.

Surprisingly, better than the average chalk bag in both function and quality

It's feels and looks really nice, better in person than the photos do justice for. Surprisingly though, it's functionality is better than other chalk bags. It's bigger around, making it easier to chalk up. I also find that this makes it stand up better as well which is useful for bouldering. You can't go wrong with this chalk bag.
