Power Air is made from recycled and recyclable fibers. The face of the fabric is smooth, making it ideal for layering, while the back side features the insulating pockets that can hold your heat and breath at the same time.
The Belay Crew is a go-to sweater that goes under the Crux overshirt or shell jacket as a mid layer on cold days and as an outer layer on not-so cold days.
We have field-tested the Belay Crew for bicycle commuting, rock climbing, alpine trekking, and other demanding adventures. It looks as clean and elegant as a crew neck sweater can be.
Main Fabric: Polartec® Power Air™ is a new revolutionary knit construction that encapsulates air to retain warmth and reduce microfiber shedding.
The result is a performance fabric with advanced thermal efficiency that sheds up to 5x less than other premium mid-layer fabrics. And while all fabrics will shed fibers over time, Polartec® Power Air™ is a step forward in reducing the environmental impact of what we make and wear.

This has been the single best fitting sweatshirt I've found. I'm 6'3 / 240 and in heaven. My arms are covered and I finally have something to stretch across my chest
The Belay Crew Sweater is much like my hometown Innsbruck. It is as urban (and good looking) as it is for mountain sports and climbing. The material is thin but thanks to polartec it will keep you warm during your spring climbing. I love it.
Absolutely love it. I am a 5’4” male at 125lbs and the XS fits me perfect. A bit snug but I love it that way.
Sweater fits perfectly, stretches nicely so great movability when sporting outdoor.
Look elegantly normal, feel comfortable and ready for action.
I love the Rungne concept.
So many sporty clothing brands maximize profit margins by choosing average, mainstream fabrics and going crazy on design. Wear any piece of cycling clothing for example and you scream to the world that you are an elite cyclist and in the middle of your training session.
With the Rungne clothes, the fabrics genuinely stand out in quality in meaningful ways without You standing out in every other location than the gym.
I really like the environmental awareness as well with focus on durability among other things.
Be aware of sizing. I am normally a M/L (189 tall, 85 kg). I found I needed XL in the Shirt, Pants and Shorts while the Crew fit well in M (L would probably also work).
Thankfully, the customer service is refreshingly exceptional and helpful in changing sizes and so on. Really good customer service is such a good investment and one that Rungne has made. I will definitively be a recurrent customer.
PS. The Belay Crew is shaped really well with curved seams on the sides which molds really well around the chest and the colour Moroccan Blue is excellent.
